Un film des années 90 (je crois)

Bonjour,

My French isn't that good, so I'll write in English. I'm looking for a French film, from the 90s or possibly 2000, 2001. It's about a man who lives with his family somewhere in the south of France (if I remember correctly). He has two children. He's not happy with his life at all, quite depressed, I think he even lost his job? And he has a mistress in Paris for some time. The movie is definitely drama and has a quite gruesome end: he kills his whole family, including children. I also remember that his wife was blonde? I thought of Romane Bohringer and Sandrine Kiberlain, but I had no success looking through their lists of films, so might be neither. So, can anybody help me?? I think the end must be helpful, since not many movies are about those kind of things.

No problemo.
It was easy because this movie is based on true events. It really happened to a french family in the late 80's. So the movie was a real success as well as a critical success.
