We are a company specialized in foreign language education and we are currently looking for an executive producer to manage and
oversee the shooting of about 30 short video episodes in Paris with various French amateur
or professional actors. The episodes will be used in a French language course for beginners.
In addition to the video sequences, we need 60 pictures to be taken showing the actors in various situations and
tons of short audio recordings (each ~10sec or less).

The project will be split into distinct phases (documents for each phase are available upon request):
1) casting of 15 French amateur or professional actors
2) production of 30 video episodes and 60 photos (scripts are already written)
3) production of 130 audio dialogs (scripts are already written)
4) production of 1300 single word vocabulary audio files (< 3 sec each; need to be recorded by the various casted actors for the language course's
vocabulary exercises)


Here are some more specifics for your clarification:
- We need French actors (no English skills required for the actors). The spoken language in the episodes is French!
Every actor - if desired - will be given a dedicated webpage on our language website once this project is completed.
This could serve as a nice future reference for each of them.

- All scripts are already written and are designed for a French language course for beginners. You may not(!) rewrite/edit the scripts in any way.
Some of the scripts may seem simple or woodenly phrased, but they are designed for people who don't know any French yet.
They were written to cover a certain grammar and/or field of vocabularies so we will not accept or argue about any changes to these. The challenge for the actors will be to make the dialogs
as lively, funny, and real as possible given these circumstances.
Also, please speak slowly and clearly in the dialogs to avoid any "I'm overwhelmed" factor for the learners.

- About half of the episodes will be shot outside in characteristic Paris locations. The other 50% require specific indoor settings. See scripts_video_sorted_by_locations.doc
for further details.

- Please let us know in detail in your bid, how you want to realize this project. This includes the following questions:
a) How are you going to recruit the actors?
b) How are you going to find/set up the particular locations required in some of the episodes (doctor's office, airport, department store, restaurant, etc..)?
c) Who are you going to hire apart from the actors? Director? Camera? Etc..
d) How are you going to produce the audio dialogues.

- The required pictures should be JPG, 600 x 400px (or larger); Pictures can be taken using a regular digital camera.
Pictures related to video episodes should not(!) be taken during the filming of the episode to avoid visible flashlight,
noise caused by the camera shutter, etc.. Instead, they should be taken separately after of before filming.
